Salat’al Kafara Az-Dhanoob

Salat’al Kafara Az-Dhanoob is to be done on the night of the last Friday in Ramadhan, either after the Witr of Isha or during the night, it equals a thousand months of worship, it covers all the worship one has missed in one’s lifetime, and extends to cover your ancestors and all your family – such power of this Salat

Sayyidina Abu Bakr Siddiq (ra) said that this was a Sunnat prayer done to atone for all the past prayers that we missed since we were born. 1. As salaam u alaikum wa rahmatullah wa barakatu, I needed to have the dua in transliteration. Please could you post it for next year. This time I could only make the intention, my Arabic isn’t good enough, astaughfirullah. With thanks, wa salaam, A E S

    1. Insha’Allah next year, we will provide transliteration with all Dua’s. Also Shaykh Adnan says for those who cannot read Arabic is to read the Ayah/ Dua with their eyes. The eyes of the Heart will read and is more powerful and important than reciting with the Tongue.

Keep us all in your Dua’s. Especially Shaykh Adnan for long healthy life to reach time of Sahib Az-Zaman.

  2. Assalaamu’alaikum do we read the salawat after we complete the salah or during the salah. Also I wanted to know if we haven’t memorised the above surahs which are read in each Rakat can we read them from the quran during the salah.
